Bulleit has always stood for those on the frontier of culture. As tattoo artistry moved into the mainstream, there was an opportunity for Bulleit to celebrate this modern form of craftsmanship and connect with a new audience of cultural creators.

Idea

Leading into National Tattoo Day, Bulleit Bourbon partnered with four trailblazing tattoo artists to launch Bulleit Bourbon Tattoo Edition, the latest chapter in Bulleit Frontier Works — an ongoing series of collaborations with modern makers. The limited-edition bottles featured tattoo-inspired designs that paid tribute to each artist and their city. To bring the collaboration to life, we created captivating on- and off-premise materials and an interactive augmented reality experience that allowed fans to explore each artist’s story in a whole new way.
